I have always loved and been curious about the different great ways of creating Fine Art and Crafts. From a very young age I have been painting and making my own toys with passions for Toy Art and Fine Art. One of my initial goals was to become a contemporary artist and experimenting with object and installation art.
Following on from this, I then started to explore different ways of creating art within a more spatial environment and subsequently decided to study Design for Theatre and Film (University of Arts in Bucharest, Romania) and in year three of the Diploma I took an Erasmus Scholarship opportunity to study Production Design at the Brera Academy (Milan, Italy). My Diploma took me on the path of film (a slight detour from installation art/contemporary art!) and as a result I furthered my interest on the 2 Year MA programme in Production Design at the NFTS (National Film and Television School, Beaconsfield, UK) which brought me to the UK.
These two years were an amazing boost to my skills and work as it opened the doors of the film industry where I was offered my first job on ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ as an Art Department Assistant in December 2014. Since then I have had great opportunities of working on a variety of film productions such as: ‘Solo:A Star Wars Story’, ‘Johnny English’, ‘1917’,’The Little Mermaid'. Fingers crossed many more to follow!
I love art and having my own personal projects is important so hopefully I will show you more of my work here soon!
