Craft - Toys

This is a selection of my early work from 2007 - 2009. I have always loved creating toys and objects so from small things you can see here I started doing bigger and weirder (yes, lets say that!) toys and objects. Main materials used are textile, wire, spray paint, enamel paint.

This is part of a group exhibition from 2009 called the "Comedy of Life". These huge marionette type objects suggest duality, evolution from child to adult and all the turmoil in between by trying to maintain creativity.

Like above, this piece is also from the same exhibition "Comedy of Life". Also reflecting duality but in a different aesthetic manner - playing with 2D shapes to 3D shapes - going from flat to round, more defined shapes.
