'The Lower Depths' play by Maxim Gorki,  Model scale: 1:25 metric.   2010
This model had a small mechanism inside allowing it to move the 2 sections of the model closer and further apart as they would do in reality on stage if the set were built.

'The King Stag' play by Carlo Gozzi,   Model Scale: 1:25 metric.   2010
My main concept for this set was to use oversized puppets as alter egos of the protagonists. The stage floor would form various patterns using hydraulic platforms.
'The Stag King' - the end of the play would turn into a shadow play inspired by the Japanese ancient theatre.

'Carnival Stories' ('D-ale Carnavalului') play by I.L.Caragiale, Model Scale: 1:25 metric.   2010
My concept for this set has been to include/immerse the audience completely within the play. The audience would be sat on these steps of an amphitheatre style set, at the tables eating and drinking with the actors and on the benches. The walls of the sets are formed out of modules, changing/rotating depending on the scene.
